Does anyone have an M&P15 upper that has any markings? I just purchased a supposed M&P15 upper and can not find any markings...

You mean no forge stampings, or no S&W logo? That upper will look alot like a Stag.

Nothing saying S&W - has the Nato 5.56mm 1:9 stamp on top of barrel and that's about it.

Other than the Cerro Forge image and S&W and on the Troy parts, there is nothing else. If you mean something like LMT or BCM does, the answer is no.

That sounds about right. Did you buy it from somebody reputable? We get customers now and then that get all indignant and swear we sold them something that is not legit. It's pretty comical actually. One guy was convinced the Sabre upper we sold him was not legit. He came in one day, tossed it up on the counter and declared "I'm here to get the proper upper!". How sweet it was to point out the obvious Sabre markings to him

Not that it doesn't happen, don't get me wrong (SoCalGun "Colt" uppers anyone), but I would not assume the worse just because you do not see obviously S&W markings.

I purchased the M&P15A upper. Other than the S&W M&P(Troy) rear flip-up sights, there are no other marking/stamping on the upper/barrel....no caliber nor twist rate.
