What do you think?
I got the 5.45 because I wanted flat shooting varmint type round but didn't want to ante up for an AR
so I gonna put optics on it but not a red dot like everything else I got
I shoot out a ways while hiking/hunting varmints
So I'm thinking that millet dms 1x4 or a 4x15 variable deal
Which do you think?
I know they are at opposite ends of the spectrum
I'm just wondering if the 1x4 has enough distance or if the 4x15 will work close enough... I shoot anywhere from 25 to 400 yards

There is no commercial scope with BDC for 5.45x39. If you're lucky, you might find a surplus East German or Romanian Mil. scope for 5.45x39.

I'd suggest a scope with mil-dot. You need to calculate the ballistics of the 5.45 from your rifle and find your range with the help of the mil-dot.

I was thinking the 5.45 would be fairly close to 5.56 ballistics
I was actually looking at some of the East German ZFK's and others calibrated for the 5.45 but they super pricey
