View Full Version : Troy vs. BCM (Troy) FDE: Same color?

Does anyone know if there is a color difference between the regular Troy and BCM (Troy) BUIS in FDE?

BCM's website makes the colors look way different but I don't know if it's just the lighting.

I have a front Troy in FDE and was wondering if the BCM-branded rear sight in FDE will match.]

More importantly, will it match your shoes! :D

From my last Troy rails those I sold, I found Troy FDE is lighter than Magpul FDE. Troy FDE is more like golden tan, but they call it FDE anyway.

Not Magpul, BCM vs Troy. I can't answer the question either.

I do.

Apparently others do, too:

I just settled for anodized black... My newest build is slowly coming together.

Thanks for info guys.

Given they're both made by Troy the images are what's different...

The color would be only as different as Troy's batches. There's no way they'd modify their recipe for BCM. Tan anodizing is actually a bit of a *****.
