Hi

I am looking for a gunsmith in the Socal OC area that can do a trigger job on a S&W 686 revolver. I would like the double action pull adjusted.

Thx

Alan Tanaka in Gardena. Smith's are his specialty. And he's usually fairly quick.

+1 on Alan. He's one of the best. Top pistolsmith guild member and his prices are very reasonable for the quality of work being done.

I would recommend that you avoid Evan's Gunsmithing at all costs.

Randy Lee of Apex Tactical does an awesome S&W action and he's in Moro Bay.

a bit north, but he's the best, i think his turn around is down to 4-6 weeks since Scott joined him...he also makes a longer firing pin for reliable ignition, plus lots of other goodies

I know what you did wrong.
There's a little part in there that's really hard to put back together properly when you take the slide off.
I remember helping a buddy fix his.

If I remember correctly Bain & Davis in San Gabriel did my 586 back in the 80's. The DA pull is like smoother than a babies ***. I think I will call em and see what they can do for my Centennial. Damn I am brain dead, it did'nt occur to me to get the trigger polished until just now and I have had this thing for well over ten years!

I just found this while trying to figure out if Bain & Davis is in fact the place that did my trigger, I am not 100% sure. It was a long time ago.

I found this on the S&W site

I know nothing about them though.
