So... I want to create an application that will print out a nice form. I want to control the font, have footers, headers and such. Can do phython, VB, and others. Anyone familiar with an easy way to create nicely formatted text that will turn into printable forms?

I use MS-Excel for making forms... Works great for me and does everything I need for work.

I use Adobe InDesign to create the document and then move to Acrobat Professional to add the form fields. This gives me a PDF file that the user can access with a web browser, fill in the fields and print or fax. It also allows the data to be captured for import into a database.

If you know VB (or VB.NET) you can always use Microsoft's Word API to build the documents.
