WTK if you have a Remington R-25 that is made by DPMS and uses AR 10 mags will a DPMS AR 10 complete upper fit. Has any tried it or know. Thanks

Aren't these rifles just like any other AR, meaning that any AR10 upper should be able to be mated to the lower?

i think there are 2 types of "ar10" uppers/lowers

I was told the Reciever of the Rem R-25 was made by DPMS so I was wondering if the uppers would interchange. will probably have to Call DPMS and ask them.

Ok you are a bit mixed up. DPMS doesnt make AR-10s. They are known as .308 ARs/LR-308s. So to be a bit more general lets call them DPMS .308 ARs. The R-25 is a DPMS patterened .308 AR with the Remington name on it. DPMS patterned rifles do NOT take AR-10 mags. They take what is called SR-25 styled mags, named after the mags that the KAC SR-25 rifle uses.

That being said, The uppers WILL interchange since they are of the same platform. But again, they are NOT AR-10s. Those are Armalite patterned rifles, and yes they do take different mags (except for Hesse?)

The only compatibility with ar10s are
aero precision,
and a couple other doodads here and there.

DPMS can take stoner mags, ie sr25 or mk11. Not all interchangable like ar-15s.
