Hi, new member and wanted to know if I can have this transferred in:

SIG SAUER P226 AL SO 9mm MADE IN GERMANY. NEW in case with extra magazine, manual and test target. SA/DA, rail, dot front site, bar rear site. Recent import, limited quantity. Folded steel slide with pinned breech bloc.

I have looked on the Ca. DOJ list but I am confused about reading the list. I visited 3 locations in my area and got 3 different responses: 1. go look on the list, 2. if you didn't see it on the list then I don't need to check, and 3. from my memory it is not. Since I'm new to all this I figured I'd ask on the forum before giving up.

Well thank you for any responses and for reading. (Also if this is the wrong section of the forum my apologies)

The one you describe doesn't appear to be one that was submitted for testing. The stamped steel slide seems to be the giveaway. Another dealer may read this differently, however.

I doubt it as he said this is a P226. P6 is a single stack, barrel 3.9. P226 is a double stack and the barrel is 4.4. So not the same ...

And no the steel slide sig P226 is not on the list. Sorry

Thanks for the replies, guess I'll have to look for my second choice.

Yeah I was thinking the P6 was similar to the P225. I was right, but figured I would post up the other option anyway. Thanks for educating me. It might be clear I am not a Sig aficionado.
