Hey Riflegear guys,

Any idea if you will be getting any ak pistols in soon? I missed the last batch and am hoping to get one soon. Also I understand that you will be a vendor for Robinson Arms. Any idea on when you will have an XCR in pistol config? Help me spend my christmas money ;) Keep up the good job guys. Love the store and hope to see you at the crossroads show in OC.

not to hijack, but similarly, do you ever do CA legal AR pistols?

(BTW, been loving that YHM upper I got in june)

I stopped by the shop last week and they had two on the wall and a customer was picking one up ;)

I just saw a LWRC PSD Pistol on their site for a whopping $2100 - to rich for my blood for this item - so I wonder if that is what you saw/all they have.

will see when he posts up here.

They're not cheap (from any source)... and they're already in California, so they have a BB and single-shot sled installed.
It's a turn-key transaction.

true to a degree... turn key is nice and CA compliant is great - just tough to swallow when I can build a nice AR rifle cheaper. I have coin to buy and spend, but not that much. but we get each others point.

either way, hope David posts up and maybe has other in store options that are turn key and mo affordable - as mo affordable does exist.

OK guys we have 30 AK pistols on the way as soon as this weekend for the gun show.

No eta on robarms pistols.

AR pistols at $1300 are about 1 month out.

True, but "100%" rifle-DROS'd AR lowers are as common as drugs in Keith Richards' blood stream. Pistol lowers are extremely rare, with the only practical option for the homebuilder being to go with an 80%... that's a lot of work, and worth a good chunk of change, and the 80% receiver is only $100 or so less than a complete unit.

Supply and demand... "Everyone" wants one, and the supply is much more limited than the rifle supply, so an item with lower component parts cost can end up being more expensive OTC.
Add to that the volume issues... Ruger, S&W, Colt, Bushmaster, etc... they aren't producing pistols. The pistols are primarily produced by smaller companies (higher % overhead) who specialize in feeding niche markets.

It will be a throw-away system that you can trade back to us for a 10rd mag.

Yes, they are Draco pistols. Price is $559.00. We only have 3 left of the 10 we received last weekend.

They look exactly like this, except with an AK47 Bullet Button and a Tapco 1/30 mag for California DROS.

Will you be taking pre-orders for the next batch? Can they be DROS'd prior to them coming into stock?

Unfortunately, being a pistol we must have the serial number in front of us before we can start the DROS.

You may come in if you like and put some money down to "hold" one for you, but you'll also have to come in separately to start the DROS and 10-day wait.

Thanks for the reply. Just let me know ASAP when you have them in stock ready for DROS so I can do it all at once.

Vintage: Are you looking for the DRACO AK pistols, or the soon-to-be-in AR pistols?

If it's the DRACO AK pistols, we still have some in stock right now. I'll even hold one for you if you like.
