Everything else is secondary :-)

Check out:

Tons of good info there. I recently started and have had great success.

Buy Lee brand equipment, it is the best bang for the buck and works great.

The Lee 10lb or 20lb melter production pot (with the lever on the side for easy dispensing) is the best thing going, and Lee molds are inexpensive and work great.

You should be able to get a Lee pot, a mold, and some lead for under $100. Remember, wear gloves and eyewear, and don't cast anywhere rain or drips could get in your pot (water and boiling lead is a dangerous and explosive combination).

You can buy pre-cast ingot lead on ebay for about $1 a lb, PM me if you want a supplier I have used and been happy with.
