Very nice shotgun, by the way. Almost, but not quite nice enough to ditch my Benelli M1 Super 90 Tactical!

Dumb question - isn't pistol grip + folding stock + semi-auto a no-go in CA?

It's a fixed skeletonized stock. The recoil tube on the M1014s is not machined to allow the stock to collapse.

OP, beautiful M1014 btw.

I'm pretty sure it's a Benelli factory stock for the 1014.

This is where I purchased the rail.

Surefire doesn't make these anymore either. So get'em while they last.

I got one for my brother for Christmas as he has the M1017. Best present ever, he told me.

To clarify for some asking about it, the M1014 model was a limited run that Benelli manufactured while the Federal AWB was in effect. So they modified the stock assembly such that the stock could not collapse (it's missing the notches/etc to allow this). Fixed stock + pistol grip = legal!

How comfortable is that Surefire grip?
