Sweet, 2k and its all yours :D Naw, not for sale. I should because I could use the money but its my baby for awhile anyway. It rounded out my collection of 16, 18, and 20" rifles that I've wanted. This is the most "tacticool" of the bunch. I didn't want to go all gung ho with the bipods, magnifiers, and VFG's or anything. Its kind of a KISS build with flair. And to date, I haven't had any issues with production ammo and the 3.5lb springs save the S.A. 5.56 ammo in battle packs. I had problems with 8+ lb springs though too so I don't feel bad about it at all.

hows the 'Midwest industries MCTAR-18 quad rail handguards' hold up? I'm thinking about getting that instead of a DD Omega and save bout $100. That MCTAR is like the DD omega right? No tools or anything needed?

Also wheres the cheapest to get those MI handguards online?

Nice handguards, and such minimal movement, I would probably even mount a front sight if necessary. I typically wouldn't except on a FF handguard but these things are pretty rock solid. I can't honestly say about the handguard because it came on the thing but the lowest i've seen is off of midway for about 130 on sale and typically just under $150. I really like what i've seen so far and will likely buy more MI products because of it.

If I could make one suggestion.......

Sell the CMT BCG....and put a BCM BCG in that BCM upper.

Otherwise...looks great...nice build.

Magazine was empty and not inserted fully. Its an old Colt USGI mag I have that I use for photos and my featureless build. It works great and I always use the oldies to rebuild anything that is broken or needing parts because they work the best.
