I screwed myself last time by purchasing Wolf Ammo (which is metallic) which also isn't allowed at Angeles Shooting. My own fault.

See link

Does anybody have any experience with this ammo and know

A) Is it allowed at Angeles Shooting Range?
B) Is it metallic?

Thanks.

federal xm193 is good to go. As long as the wolf bullets aren't steel core, you can shoot them. They will come up with a magnet to check any that look surplus and you can check yourself with a magnet.

wolf isn't steel core, but they have bi-metal jackets and thus attract magnet.
