John was just saying "its one thing to let college kids get slaughtered because you dont want them to have guns in their classrooms, but no guns on a military base? Really?"

First time I've ever heard him say anything REMOTELY pro gun.

Maybe the truth is getting so clear that fewer people are able to ignore it.

KFI may have a (neo)conservative bent, but a bastion of liberty they are not. Bryan Suits is the closest thing to pro-gun they have.

I listen to John and Ken a lot but they don't touch on anything gun very often. I would have loved them to ask Meg Whitman about her stance when they had her on recently.

John Kobylt is completely anti-gun. Ken seems indifferent on the issue. Neither of them care enough to ask any politician about it. Bill Handel is even worse, because he went to law school and thinks he knows what the Second Amendment is all about, which is to say he thinks it applies to the National Guard (the "militia") and nobody else has a right to own or carry.

If you want pro-gun conservative/libertarian talk radio in California, listen to Armstrong & Getty out of the Bay Area. They're on KNEW and KSTE and also have a free podcast.

If you want more pro-gun, listen to KSFO in morning drive (Lee Rodgers) and early evening (Brian Sussman). Both stream at www.ksfo.com and podcast is available.

Better yet, try Jerry Pearce (http://www.jerrypearce.com/) whose show is underwritten in part by CRPA.

When they get rid of Melanie I will listen in the morning again. I think my favorite is Officer Vic.

I always listened to KFI but when I left CA and heard GunTalk on the AM radio on Sunday's, while at the range too. I realized "WOW you can say the word GUN on the radio in a positive manner!" http://www.guntalk.com/site.php

My local AM talk station has a lot of gun nuts and promotes hunting a lot but every now and then there are discussions on gun bans and cool AR and AK rifles.

I guess the Socal demographic just doesn't favor shooting as a viable sport.
