No this isnt about Fort Hood.

This bulletin alerts the campus community that a serious crime has occurred and offers related safety information.

At about 8:45 PM, November 4, 2009, a female driver was kidnapped during the commission of an armed carjacking and robbery at the intersection of Crandall and Campus Way, on the Cal Poly Campus. She was forced to drive to an ATM machine where she escaped. The suspect, Ryan Soqui, fled the area in the victim's car. Police authorities located and attempted to arrest Soqui at about 10:15 PM in the South San Luis Obispo County area. Soqui escaped and remains at large. He is on parole, was armed with a small black handgun and was wearing a black sport coat and jeans when last seen. He may be in the San Luis Obispo area.

Soqui is considered armed and dangerous. If you see this person, dial 9-1-1 immediately, Do not attempt to contact or apprehend him.

Lock your vehicle doors when driving. Do not stop your car or open your doors for people you don't recognize. Park in well-lit areas. Be aware of your surroundings. Report any suspicious activity to police immediately.
