View Full Version : Is there any land in Delano where i can shoot?

Hi all, im looking for a good place to shoot as im gonna be moving to Delano (im from san diego)and id like to know if there is anywhere that is nice and open to teach my daughter. if you guys know any would you pm me pretty please as i would not like to give away any locations publicly and then everyone would end up trashing it.Or maybe one of you northern guys could bring me along :D I clean after myself

it's not a trust issue at all. there ain't **** in delano, why are you moving there? maybe bakersfield has a place or if you go to visalia they have a range.

rifle range out to 500 meters...
shotgun ranges...
sporting clays...
handgun steel ranges...
handgun target ranges...
.22 ranges...
various club ranges including uspsa and cowboy...

none of that...one shot per second feces...
shot what you brung... except steel core during fire season...
shoot squirrels with appropriate ammo...
hotdogs cooked for lunch or bring your own...

I think membership is like 20.00 for the year and 9.00 bucks a day...

There is a good size BLM area near 6th Avenue and Virginia Ave a few miles west of town. Look it up here:
