So I picked up this mag from a fellow calgunner yesterday, he said he sent out the mag to be modified into a 10/32 mag. My 2 questions are:

1) By looking at the follower, can anyone tell me if this is one of the first gen mags with the followers that had a tendency to FTF?

2) And by looking at the floor plate can you tell how this was modified to a 10/32 mag? It looks like the bottom is riveted in, I was not able to pull the floor plate off.

You can only tell the follower gen from the bottom. The new ones say "9mm" on them, and the old ones don't say anything.

only way to be 100% positive its a 10/32. load 9mm in and see how many it holds. he might of glued a post into the center with a dowel of some sort, by looking at that massive hole in the bottom with no idea if that is normal/.

I know it is a 10/32 mag, my question was since I can not take of the base plate how is it blocked. I posted a picture of the bottom of the magazine so that way if some one else has C products mags they could tell me if the floorplate looks the same, because it looks like there is a rivet of some sort in the bottom. I am comparing it to my uzi mags that dont have that mark.

There's no rivet. That looks like the base of a standard C Products 9mm mag.

Bring it by the shop I will get out the cutting torch and open it up then we will be able to see how they blocked it!:43:
