Unfortunately, the last SJ gun show is slowly but surely dying. It's a downward spiral, with smaller shows attracting fewer people, which attracts fewer vendors, and so on.

I'd guess we'll be down to the Cow Palace show as the only one in the SF/SJ area in another year or two.

There were a few good deals on guns, but most of the gun sellers are retail priced or collectible types. I saw a couple I'd have bought had I been in the market, but then you've got the extra transfer hassles on many of them.

I bought a bit of ammo and a few knives, but walked out with most of my money, which is a sad state of affairs.

Heck, even the beef jerky guys stayed away...

I live 2 mi from SJ show and won't go there again.

Waste of time. I can remember just a couple of years ago when it used the whole hall, and tables/aisles were crowded together. Now they keep moving a separator/divider wall further and further back.

Miwall isn't there, lotsa nongun crap, etc.

Will save my $7 for a nice deli sandwich and a beer.

I am sorry to hear the gunshow in San Jose is dying out. I use to live there and enjoy going to them. I wanted to go back and see one for old memories.
