Can anyone direct me where to find Mac 10 parts kits for sale? Any other info for a home build would also be greatly appreciated!

Also check out the Uzitalk forums. They have a subforum dedicated to M10/M11's. Mostly F/A stuff, but also lots of good information on S/A guns.

I've got a center section kit, I just need the side plates and then a parts kit to finish mine.

M10 flats and weld together kits are easy to find. What seems to be difficult to find is an M10 closed bolt. Everything M10 on Cobray.com and FTF is an open bolt which is a no-no.

If anyone has a source for an M10 closed bolt, please post it up, because I've been searching off and on for a year now and haven't run across one in .45acp.

I thought this would be a fun build party. Fairly inexpensive, straight forward, and different than an AK. I knew this would be the place to start gathering information. Thanks everyone.

Just call up Masterpiece Arms. They make a new-production S/A Closed-bolt M10 in .45.

They'll sell spare parts like complete bolt assemblies.

Except for threaded barrel on a handgun is a big no-no in this state.

I have built two different Macs and the hardest part was getting all the parts at a reasonable price.

FTF is good for the center section and magwell. they dont have side plates and most of the other stuff is for full auto.
FTF Industries (http://www.ftfindustries.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=FI&Category_Code=MCWP)

Cobray has the side plates and every thing else but they are really expensive and take forever to ship anything. I waited 6 months for my side plates. They were the only place that had them.
Cobray (http://www.cobray.com/ordering.html)

RPB Industries is pretty good when they have the parts available. They ship fast and the prices aren't bad. The dont have the receiver pieces though. Only the upper and internals.
RPB Industries (http://www.gunmallusa.com/gunmallusa/prepareStoreHome.do?storeNumber=9)

Tickbitesupply has lots of parts and good prices but like RPB they dont have receiver parts. If they don't have the part in stock it may be a while before they get them. They also have all types of uppers. Regular top cocking or side cocking, with or with out threaded barrels, and 6",10", or 16" barrels.
Tickbitesupply (http://tickbitesupply.com/mpa.html)

Masterpiece Arms has the biggest selection of parts and accesories at good prices. They dont carry receiver parts either but they do have technical pages that willl show you how every thing is put together
Masterpiece Arms (https://www.masterpiecearms.com/index2.php?cat=23)

I put mine together for about $500 for all the parts including a magazine.

That covers the parts. Once you get them you need to weld them. There are ^ pieces that need to be welded.
The magwell/hand grip gets welded to the center section. so does the trigger gaurd / feed ramp. Before I weld in the trigger guard I like to sand and polish the part that is the feed ramp.
The side plates get welded to the center section next. There are tabs at the bottom of the side plates that align it with the center section.
The last piece to get welded is the rear sight plate.
