Isn't the 'grenade launcher' on the underside of the M41A actually a shotgun receiver?

Why don't you post this in off topic since it has nothing to do with rifles?

Yeah.

I believe they were 870's dressed up in some SPAS-12 plastic. But don't quote me on that one.

In my last visit back east, I got to see a built m41a. It was EXTREMELY heavy. I can't remember how much they guy said it weighed, but 35lbs wouldn't be too far off. I was expecting it to be green in color, but he said brown was what was actually used on screen.

the M41A is a dressed up Tommygun, the grenade launcher uses the SPAS 12 heat shielding as well as a shortened forearm.

It'd be neat to mock one of the AIRSOFT versions up with a 10/22 or something...

If that Hoth Blaster was a real butchered STG-44 I' m gonna cry. How dare Hollywood ruin a real piece of firearm history.

not really, they're fake/fantasy rifles... i don't think that counts in the Centerfire Rifle category.

looks like a Sturmgewehr 44 and a AR15 hacked to crap to me, So yeah I would call em rifles.

you're right, what was i thinking? cut up parts of what used to be firearms melded together to form non-functioning fictional hollywood blasters absolutely counts as centerfire firearms and thus belong in this discussion forum.

Even if they are not functioning they are modeled after a center fire rifle correct? Even if not they are made from a center fire rifle, No need to get angry man. I'm sorry the blaster rifle doesn't have all the cool doo dads like VFG,ACOG's with back up micro T1's and it's just not tactical enough :( . I agree that it probably belongs more in the general discussion but it doesn't necessarily not belong here and people don't need to rip the guy a new one for putting it in the section he thought it belonged in.
