It is actually SOP to close the borders in a severe pandemic . It is done to limit the movement of people and therefor the spreading of a disease thus protecting the population . It would worry me a great deal if such a plan did not exist .

This is paranoid BS.

First of all, it's well known that closing the borders wouldn't stop H1N1 anyway. It is already here, DUH!

Second, a major portion of our healthcare supplies and equipment is manufactured outside the US, so closing the border would make any healthcare emergency even worse.

How come they managed to predict that, but didn't see the Spanish coming?

Because when you're essentially figuring out when to have your series of calendars end, you're not making end of days predictions.

The attention the calendar reset date has been given is equivalent to someone freaking out that their 2009 calendar doesn't have a January 1, 2010 on it. OMG! Time to get another calendar!

I am not that surprised either. I mean. . . wasn't there a movie about this kind of thing?

I only hope they don't close the boarders before my wife and daughter get back.. .

No way man, he was right the first time. Santa Claus has had enough, he's not bringing presents this time.

Why does it take a pandemic to close our borders? Aren't the millions of illegals coming across enough??

The only thing that scares me is when FEMA runs the show... :TFH:

nah. now if martial law is declaired, airports are shutdown or places/people start to be quarantined, then I would worry.

Actually he is probably right in that Dec 24, 2012 will be much worse than the 21st. Just think of how crazy people will be trying to buy the Christmas presents that they thought would never be needed!!

Well...we need to keep our eyes and ears open and start researching now. This just seems to be too fantastic, but man she is convincing.

If you ever want some good political and non political stories..
Check these websites out..
Calltodecision.com
Prisonplanet.com

You don't have to believe everything, just keep an open mind.

infowars/prisonplanet are rubbish designed to sidetrack us from all the real stuff going on, I suspect they are funded by Soro's

Convincing? Really?
She reads it herself; "...if the borders were to be closed."

It's a freakin' contigency plan, people... it's a non-incident.

So yeah, OP, that this is info a foregone conclusion is basically FUD.

Probably more like the Y2K ridiculousness.

I don't know why people still think Y2K is anything similar to 2012.

y2k was a real threat if the computer systems were not patched. Granted the media blew it out of proportion, but there was a threat.

2012 is not a threat, it's only a new calender period. We should treat it as such. However, the Maya did have a warning that when moving into this new period the threat to humanity is greater than ever, and we must exercise caution to avoid our own demise.
