Due to store software limitations, they are charged when placed. I try to make that very clear when I open pre-orders and put it in bold colored words in the item description. Please don't take that as me being flippant or otherwise disrespectful; just explaining how things work but out of context, it can sound like I'm :rolleyes: when that isn't the intent at all.
