I am looking for Vegas area gun shops to visit. I want places with an actual store with lots of black rifle accessories, components, mil surplus etc and not just an industrial park storefront with a counter in the front of an area you can't see. I figure it will be cheaper to visit a place filled with rifle parts than to hang out at the casino. Any recommendations?

if you just want to look and touch, head to Citadel Gun and Safe (near the Rio/Palms). Their prices are high and can't speak too highly of the CS, but they have a larger than normal store and a lot of Black Rifles on the walls.

I don't know if this is still an issue but Vegas gun shops used to be in the habit of asking for ID if you bought anything vaguely related to AWs/parts or high cap mags and would not sell them to CA residents.

I don't know about Cabeles, but there is a huge Bass Pro Shop complete with attached casino. The casino appears to share the Pro Shop's aquarium water system as it has a large tank complete with mermaids.

if you want a free magic show, announce that you are from California, and

"Poof"

every counter person disappears

it's like magic

Yeah, the Bass Pro Shop is enormous in Vegas and the area devoted to the shooting sports is significantly bigger than the Rancho Cucamonga one. Still no EBRs but so much stuff otherwise.

The place that lets you shoot full autos is THE GUN STORE.
It aint cheap, a while back someone said it was $50.00 for 50 rnds through a full auto gun.
Its on Tropicana east of the 15fwy.
2900 E Tropicana Ave
Las Vegas, NV 89121-7340

I like Center Mass Firearms in Henderson. http://www.centermassfirearms.com/

They treat us like humans, unlike "The Gun Store" and their PRIsim systems is awesome. Take a live fire class on the simulator for some great training. They also rent full autos (I like the MP5SD) and have lots of goodies and firearms to gawk at.
