300 meter range, orange clays on the left and steel piggies on the right. Had no problem hitting the clays or the piggies.

And the real reason for the weekend. Looking down the firing line during the volley fire exercize.

Due to issues I can not disclose where it took place, only it was in California. It was an invite only and not open to the public.

Hey Bob, How did you feel with such a small gun at such a large shoot?
And whats the plunger for? Did someone get their ball stuck in the cannon? I only say this because I wasn't invited......:drool5:

Yeah it was a different change for me. Those guys have mega $$$ in those things. The Gatlin gun is estimated at just around $50K, some of the others are in the $5K and up range.

I believe the plunger is to load the bowling balls into the mortar. I didn't catch Steve loading it. Those bowling balls make a wicket whisling sound going up and coming down. Kind of eary to hear it.

Doesn't the Gatling Gun crank mechanism constitute a multi-burst trigger actuator and hence make it illegal in CA?

That Gatling gun is sweet! Do you mean it is the same model as the one on Locked and Loaded or the one actually featured in the episode?

Yep, that is the one.

Nope, just like a semi auto rifle or hand gun, oh yeah its pre 1898 firearm therefore is a antique
