GET YOUR MULTI-STATE CCW PERMITS NOW - Legally carry concealed in over 30 states! (Apply for your Utah, Florida, Arizona, and Oregon CCW Permits)

FROM UTAH BCI,

I have attached the new Utah Concealed Firearm Permit application to this email. This version has the new fees of $46.00 for in state applicants and $51.00 for out of state applicants. REMEMBER THESE FEES WILL BE IN EFFECT STARTING APRIL 1. ANY APPLICATIONS WE RECEIVE STARTING APRIL 1 WILL NEED TO HAVE THE NEW FEES OR THEY WILL BE SENT BACK TO THE APPLICANT. Please start using this new application. If any applicants come to BCI before April 1, they will have to pay the current fees, even if they have the new application showing the lower fees. The applicant will be given the option to pay the current higher fee or come back to BCI after April 1 to pay the new lower fee.

Thank you for all your help!

Great for traveling :)

The Utah and Florida Permits are for people that travel to any of the 32 States that are covered with these two-State Issued Permits. I know less people are traveling now....and the economy has cut everyone's disposable income to some extent or another. But for those of us that do travel, these permits are a fantastic option for personal and family safety. Most of my returning CA CCW Permit Students also get a Utah or Florida Permit so they can also carry on vacation or business travel. :)

Of course I also teach the CA CCW Permit Class for those that "Qualify" under California and SDSO requirements. San Diego County Sheriff requires an 8-hour Initial Permit Class and 4-hour refresher class every two years.

So, Swat Guy, you are actually bragging about your service? You would better serve the legal residents of California by disseminating CCW permits on demand. Don't worry about the rest of country; they mostly are already obeying the constitution. California remains among the few idiots that can't read the second amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

Thanks for adding your 2 cents...Wouldn't it be great if CA could follow the example that other States have shown actually works! RTC or "Will" Issue just makes sense. We may not see it on the State level, but locally we can vote for Pro-Rights Candidates, on all levels, including the Sheriff!!!

If you look at the CCW Map of counties in California, there are more counties, by land mass, that are Pro-CCW, Pro-Gun, and Pro-Self-Defense, simply due the the issuance policies of the local County Sheriff. Jay LaSuer is a great guy, and would make a great Sheriff for San Diego County.

GrizzAwoken
01-20-2010, 3:01 PM
Yeah, what satisfies the Florida requirement?

CCWUSA
01-20-2010, 8:54 PM
Yes. We can do a live-fire qualification after the class. Florida only requires that the Instructor observe you safely handle, operate, and discharge a firearm....(I Know) I asked what type of taregt and how many rounds, and they said, you don't need a target :(

Please fire one round into the dirt somewhere??? (No can do) ...So for my own liability and peace of mind, I use the Standard CA CCW Qual for my county, 15 rounds fired at 3, 5 and 7 yards.

GrizzAwoken
01-22-2010, 10:50 PM
For a total of 45 rounds or just 5 rounds at 3, 5, and 7 yards?

CCWUSA
02-03-2010, 8:59 PM
5 at 7, 5 at 5, and 3 strong-hand only, two support-hand only at 3 yards. Just to validate safe gun handling, correct manipulation, and firing of a handgun.

Attended the class on a last minute decision late last night. I'm glad I was able to get a slot. I went for the UT/FL CCW. Others in the course were there for the CA renewal or 1st time issue. I believe there were also a few guys there for OC for security work, too.

The course format is pretty basic without shooting for the UT/FL guys, but it did cover a safe handling demonstration by the student. Lectures were Powerpoint presentation mixed in with personal accounts, video and humor. :) 4 hours long, not boring, but there is some paperwork involved and finger printing, so wipe your hands after eating donuts. There were also several scenarios on which CCW could have made a difference as well as what your responsibilities are, and any serious consequences that can arise from a armed encounter. We also viewed numerous pictures and were tasked with options. Many times you really didn't know the whole situation; ie. who was the bad guy? It's not that black and white. No pun intended. Armed response is a last resort.

Any way, Calgunners should take advantage of this class and get $50 off or 33% discount. You may or may not need a UT/FL CCW, but if you intend on taking some advanced shooting courses some sort of professional training or background may be required and a CCW permit would qualify as one of the prerequisites.

Take this course! Bill's offering a big discount as well.

Glad you enjoyed the class and took something positive away from it. I wish I could encourage more CalGunners to come out and take this class. Even if you only travel to one or two States, once or twice a year, it's worth having the legal ability to carry a concealed firearm to protect yourself if attacked.
