Looking for comments from those with experiance with the er Shaw barrels

Don't know about the AR but I used to have a Shaw barrel on my 10/22 and for the price it was great.

Shaw produces barrels for many big name AR manufacturers you have heard of.
They are not a true match grade barrel, but they are as accurate as you would expect of say a Colt or a bushmaster.
To get consistent 1moa groups, you are going to need match quality ammo.
Don't expect MOA performance from blasting ammo.

I have an E.R. Shaw 18" barrel on my 10/22. Mine performs exactly as Randall describes.

FWIW,
I have a 20" fluted and free-floated HBAR (not a varmint profile) with A2 FH from M1S (they supposedly use Shaw barrels). Shot right at 1 MOA with Fed 69gr Match. Now shoots sub-MOA after Tubb's Final Finish.
