Second from the bottom in 7.62 x .39. Shoots awesome, very accurate, and 1/2 the recoil of my old AK.

Just a great rifle. BTW - I'm thinking about getting the 6.8 barrel and trying that bad boy out.

Is that stock pinned in that position?

Yup. Put a set screw on it, because I didn't have a darn fixed stock.

Thanks technique, I'm thinking about putting a bullet button in it so I can put a nice pistol grip on there, not because the Monsterman isn't comfortable, I do like it, but if I take all the other family members of the group out shooting, I have to shoot it first and not in the middle. :D

here's a question i have... does that grip have to come all the way up to the buffer tube, or no? just an honest question. this is why i like my m1's.... no obscure definitions in ancient heiroglyphics to decipher the legalities of your rifle...

in re:your last post, i really like the tangodown grip... its awesome!

From my understanding, your thumb can't go around the grip, i.e. making it a pistol grip.

There is a lot of guns the MMG leaves a gap on...Its not a big deal.

It:

A) doesn't allow a pistol type grasp
B) isn't a pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon
C) isn't a thumbhole stock.

Ive resolved that with my two AR builds pretty much done I now want an xcr in .308. Ive heard nothing but good things about them and theres supposedly a place in petaluma that carries them. now its just a point of saving money.

The .308 isn't out, that's why I built my .308 with a DPMS upper on the Fulton lower, looks like an AR-10, second from the top. The beauty of the modular XCR and trying to include the .308 caliber, is impossible, the receiver is just too small. But a .308 exclusive XCR, now that would be cool as hell, and I've been waiting for it for over 2 years. :o
