Well, I'm pretty much brand new to ARs, but not guns. The last time I shot an AR or a gun for that matter was in 2002 in the Navy during a trip to the range for our ribbons.

Well, I acquired an AR a month or 2 ago and still haven't gotten to the range yet. Mainly as I am looking for someone to show me the ropes, how to zero her in and shoot it properly, etc. I'm very willing to learn proper techniques and I promise I will try to only ask intelligent questions. :o

I live in Berkeley and unfortunately don't drive as I am trying to pay down a lot of CC debt before I go and add more up.

So if anyone is heading to the range soon, I would love to go with you. Please shoot me a PM about times & places and carpooling to the range with someone would be great. I of course will kick in gas money or buy some beers when we are done.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I've DLed the first one and the Thunder Ranch one as well.

But being in the Navy, I know that there is no better way to train that OJT.
