define "good" :p
seriously now... 350 for the marlin depending on chambering seems like a good deal if it's OTD... possibly even a bargain, but definitley not a steal

I got my XL7 in December for $319 at my local shop which is the MSRP. Great rifle. $350 seems a little high - but then it's only $30.

I usually look on budsgunshop.com....fair prices, often cheaper than gunbroker.

Like I said fair price, not necessarily the best.....keep in mind bud's prices usually include shipping

I remember Walmart used to have those in 300 weatherby for 379$ with a boresighted scope. I wish I would picked up one back then.

Jordan,
I usually check out rrarms . com they seem to have decent prices. You can get a marlin xl7 in 30 06 for $288 which would be a great deal if you didnt have to pay for shipping and what not.

I bought a XL-7 in .270 for $299 and threw a $120 nikon scope on it, and it is extremeily accurate. I love it. I love the light Accutriger type triger that most savages have.

Jason if you want a good rifle I would get a Remington 700P or 700LTR or the cheapest way to go would be to buy a 700SPS and change the stock. I would personally get the .308 round you don't need anything bigger than that. ;)
