View Full Version : Gorski: Pizzo v. Newsom CCW case

All,

The news is out in another thread so I'll share it here too. Gary Gorski filed a CCW case in San Francisco the day before the oral argument in Nordyke.

Complaint (http://www.hoffmang.com/firearms/gorski/gov.uscourts.cand.220115.1.1.pdf) and attachment (http://www.hoffmang.com/firearms/gorski/gov.uscourts.cand.220115.1.2.pdf).

He's basically lifted strategy and argument from Mr. Gura in Sykes. However, this absolutely a bad venue strategically. Further, Gorski named the State of California via Mr. Brown to attempt to invalidate PC 12050. That's a bad idea strategically as we don't really want a re-write of that law (by De Leon for example?)

Mr. Gorski also is challenging the same safe storage requirements in SF that Chuck Michel/NRA are challenging. As such, I expect those cases to get consolidated and stayed. The risk is that an unfriendly court could attempt to move the case forward to a loss by ignoring the pendency of Nordyke and McDonald.

Current speculation is that this was what cause Justice Pregerson to ask Don Kilmer what his "agenda" was...

I wish Mr. Gorski had the common decency to show up to oral argument in Nordyke in something other than a t-shirt...

It strikes me that an amicus brief asking for a stay pending McDonald and Nordyke might not be out of line.

Of course, I'm not sure if an amicus brief can ask such a thing, but...it's a thought. And would certainly fix Mr. Gorski's little red wagon.

It's actually easy to understand. The "anits", as so many are calling them, have read The Art of War. They have infiltrated "our" side with a mole named Gorski and using him to foil any attempts at sucess. Pure genius.

I mean, come on, you HAVE to give them props for the superior strategy involved.

I just did a quick google on the epidemiology of Rugby injuries as that may shed some light on recent activities and found non-surprising results. I will leave it as an exercise for those interested as it isn't REALLY pertinent other than as an aside to otherwise very troubling news. I think I'll go to the kegerator and pour a couple pints...

WOW! I am so ignorant with alot of the dealings going on. (I have been reading quite a bit HERE in the last 10 months.)

If this is a REAL Attorney "In sum, Iíve tried more cases, taken more depositions, made and opposed more motions, and filed more pleadings that all the NRA attorneys combined." A PRO Who has done SOO Much. Then it must be ALL HIS Fault!! what a dweeb! (making my thoughts family friendly.)

How eloquent and classy is his vernacular : "Hence, tell Gura he is a punk, and to stay out of my BLEEPing business. As far as Iím concerned, he is a walking cluster+*%@! as an attorney." end quote

THE LOUT IN THE BAR

Caroline Gorski, a software saleswoman, recalls meeting him for the first time when he bumped into and then spilled his drink on her in a bar. She expected an apology. What she got, instead, was, "That's the breaks, kid."

Gorski is completely beyond reason and is unwilling (or incapable) of listening to logic or sound argument. Maybe that's why his writing lacks both.

He reminds me of Jack Thompson out of Florida. I hope the same professional fate befalls Gorski... and soon.

Mr Gorski? Whos that?

On July 20, 1969, commander of the Apollo 11 Lunar Module, Neil Armstrong was the first person to set foot on the moon. His first words after stepping on the moon, "Thatís one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind", were televised to Earth and heard by millions. But just before he re-entered the lander, he made the enigmatic remark:

"Good luck, Mr. Gorksi." Many people at NASA thought it was a casual remark concerning some rival Soviet Cosmonaut. However, upon checking, there was no Gorksi in either the Russian or American space programs. Over the years many people questioned Armstrong as to what the "Good luck Mr. Gorksi" statement meant, but Armstrong always just smiled. On July 5, 1995, in Tampa Bay, Florida, while answering questions following a speech, a reporter brought up the 26 year old question to Armstrong. This time he finally responded. Mr. Gorksi had died and so Neil Armstrong felt he could answer the question.

In 1938 when he was a kid in a small Midwest town, he was playing baseball with a friend in the backyard. His friend hit a fly ball, which landed in his neighborís yard by the bedroom windows. His neighbors were Mr. and Mrs. Gorksi.

As he leaned down to pick up the ball, young Armstrong heard Mrs. Gorksi shouting at Mr. Gorksi. "Sex! You want sex?! Youíll get sex when the kid next door walks on the moon!"

Wow, I've been reading about Mr. G's exploits for some time. As an attorney I literally cringe when I read his profane and disrespectful quotes. I understand this man does personal injury work when he isn't screwing up 2nd amendment cases? I guess that makes sense, the bulldog in your face thing is something you run into a lot in that arena. Maybe it works for him there, but since I haven't heard of a single successful outcome of his gun cases you would think he might consider a new strategy.

Still, my mind boggles at some of the foul mouthed wanna be bigshots out there practicing law.

Maybe he's on someone's payroll?

It's entirely possible that someone like difi is funding his lawsuit.

It wouldn't be DiFi. It would be the shadowy puppet master of the whole gun control movement, something like the Joyce Foundation. I have not a shred of evidence, but I can imagine they would fund something like this, and Gorski needs to pay the bills somehow.

Hmmmm I dunno, I really wish we could harness some of that guys passion and energy so we didn't have to work at cross purposes.

His passion and energy is for himself, for being a hero, a lone wolf. It has nothing to do with guns, rights, his clients, or even money. Oh and he probably likes the negative attention he's getting from us.

To all of us, the only people who are heroes in this battle are the attorney team (I won't list them because I'm sure I'll forget some if I do), and the plaintiffs, like Mr. McDonald, Ms. Sykes, Mr. Palmer, who are willing to go all the way for their rights and everyone's rights in a strategically-planned manner.
