View Full Version : ACOG TA11 vs. Leupold CQ/T

Any thoughts on this optic? I've decided to replace my EOTech 512 for an optic with longer range capabilities. The EOTech will go on my pistol build (that's the plan anyways)

I've been eyeing the TA11, along with the Leupold CQ/T. I'm looking for a solid 400m optic

Input would be appreciated

Handled a while ago and shot with one at the range last Sunday...A bit heavy, but really nice. TA11 that is..

The CQ/T was my first optic. It's a nice piece but for what it is and the pricepoint, you can do much better. My major gripe with it was the lack of eye relief when at maximum magnification. I switched to an EOTech 553 which I then sold for an Aimpoint T1 Micro.

I like TA11's, have two of them, good eye relief and light compared to an Elcan. I really like Elcans too! Nice big FOV, though the range calibrated marks are a little small at first. I really like the Leupy MRT 1.5-5x24? M2 That is the best scope for the $$ for a midrange imho. Never handled or looked through a CQT, but they do look cool.
