I've got a couple of stripped lowers and am thinking about a new rifle.

I would like a 22LR for the cheapness but have some pre-ban UZI mags and was thinking of a featureless 9mm just to use the mags :)

your thoughts ?

Dedicated .22LR is a great way to plink for cheap. 9mm isn't as cheap but still fun. The answer is obvious: build both. :D

Both obviously.

I was in the same boat, have a bunch of high cap cproduct 9mm mags but liked the idea of the cheap .22. I went with the .22 first just because of the availability and cost of ammo. It's almost done but the 9mm will be sure to follow.

I say go for the 9mm AR Build, they are fun and offer more kick then the .22LR. Plus you could use it in a pinch for HD :D

I built mine as a featureless build because I laready had the pre-ban Uzi Mags. Seems no matter where I go with mine it draws some attention, favorite was now are those extended clips from and RSO of all folks to say clips.

You'll love it unless you plan on not reloading. It is easy to want to shoot more then what you brought with you to the range. :52:

I'm set up to load 9mm on a Dillon 1050 so feeding the 9mm would not be too bad.

I'm sure that eventually I'll get around to both.
