Shot my Wingmaster for the first time yesterday. Had my worst day of trap ever, by far. It just didn't feel as comfortable as my model 12. Any idea where I could go to get the shotgun fitted to me? How much should I expect to pay? Thanks for the help.

Look up Camanche hills sporting clays... They have a stocker and gunsmith on premises that does custom stock fitting.....

It's only an hour and a half from the east bay... I'll ask around about somewhere closer.... You can do like everywhere else in the world and just fly to Italy and get something made for you....

Are you shooting it with the standard stock? You might want to try and find something with a higher cheekpiece ie monte carlo style stock.

Your other option is to try and make something yourself.. I just reshaped and finished a stock blank I got from Wenig.. One of their All American Trap Stocks... Finish it to whatever length you want, adjust the size of the pistol grip... You can have them leave extra wood in areas you want to custom fit.... It turned out a lot better than I expected. The 870's and the 1100's are both really easy to make fit to the receiver... Try looking up Wenig gunstocks on Yahoo...

Good post about gun fitting but still out of the bay area.
