Attached is my next CRPA The Firing Line article.

It's about online resources for California gun laws. I'm trying to reach out to people who may not spend that much time on the internet.

Please review it and let me know if I missed any good ones.

:D

That was great. Lot's of good information and link's. Your right in the first part, you don't even have to get out of your chair to get what you need.
Thank you for sharing. JT

Thanks!

Yes, there's tons of info out there, and sometimes all people need is a little nudge in the right direction. . .

Typo! You forgot a space when you listed The Gun Wiki in bold (between "The" and "Gun").

Way cool.

I was wondering if the CGF would be interested in writing something similar to be published in Shotgun News. It would be nice if a national publication had an article to show out-of-staters that we can own black rifles here too.

Great article Oak.

Just one thing, I noticed you referred to calguns as calguns.net. I thought calguns.net was now transitioning to calguns.com. Is that not "official" yet?

I could write something. In my former life, I was published numerous times in national publications. Do you have a contact there?

:)

Thanks!

I personally like Calguns.net better. So that's what I put in the article. Writer's prerogative!!!

Good catch!

I actually made the opposite mistake - see how he spells it at http://thegunwiki.com/

Wish I had a personal/professional relationship with one of the editors there, but unfortunately I don't. Looking at my latest issue, Robert Hunnicutt is listed as the Editor and Peter Kokalis is listed as Sr. Editor. I would maybe contact either of them to pitch the idea. The editorial number listed on their website is (800) 521-2885/ext. 5064.

Heh... Is he related to BJ Hunnicutt?

No. I don't expect ANYONE to get that.

Great article.

My only suggestion: from personal experiences with very Internet-naive users, tinyurl shortcuts may be more confusing than the full address.

Oaklander great article but I have to agree with Navy on the tinyurl links they can be a bit frustrating for those that don't use the internet much. Not to mention those of that have and been hit with nasty things on their computer clicking on a link that doesn't go where it should.

Good article. It brings alot of different resources together into one place. It will be very useful for most guns owners (and even potential gun owners).

Hell, I saved it.

Nice job!!
