New model. It is now truly "micro"...meaning, it cannot be seen with the naked eye. It's a cool concept, but I hear battery life is not so great and it's a real PITA to zero. Personally I think they went a little too far with it.

May I ask why you have the T1 in that position so far up front? Is there a tactical or visual adavantage to such placement? Once its zeroed I'm sure you can place it wherever you like but I'm just curious to why some people place it at that angle. Very nice rifle btw us California folk are very jealous right now!

I have seen aimpoint or red dots clocked in that fashion for use with a scope.

I did not buy a 416 upper because they are not worth the price. The LWRC gas piston is very well made. Besides now that they are building the MR's I plan to acquire both and SBR them. All of the HK parts came directly from HK or HKparts.net.

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg106/Sukimasterchef/DSC_1076.jpg

The rear pad comes off for storage.

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg106/Sukimasterchef/DSC_1077.jpg

The grip is very comfortable, feel and angle are the like the pistols. Also has storage compartment.

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg106/Sukimasterchef/DSC_1080.jpg

Grip is pretty standard and well made.

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg106/Sukimasterchef/DSC_0564.jpg

The kids.

Also HK has actually really turned around the some what questionable customer service reputation. That or they don't hate me specifically.

I was going to post something similar, but I guess I'm too late, and nobody would've gotten it anyway.

Nice rig.

HKCHEF

The offset mount is just temporary. I wanted to try something different. They use them in competition or when also running a scope. I have a larue now and will probably try a matech as well. Here are some more pics of the backyard pistol range. You guys can do that in Cali so no big deal.

The pics are a little dated but the steel targets are recessed in the backstop now. Also it is hard to see but I can adjust for the size of paper targets on the side's of the backstop.

The steel is made by MGM targets, it swings back and pops up when shot.

Nice rig.

With the right mount it works good. Maybe because the aimpoint's dot is so crisp. I can not speak for the eotechs.

Is the buckmark integrally suppressed?

Is the buckmark integrally suppressed?

I think that model just has a thick carbon fiber barrel. Though with that AAC Element on the 41 he has no excuse not to have the Buckmark's barrel threaded.

OP, I have to ask how you like that AAC 5.56 can? I'm moving to free America soon. SBR'ing an AR will be my first task, and once I save up a few bucks I'll be buying a can but I'm not sure which to look at.

Sure I do, they don't make one yet I don't want to thread the stock barrel.

Tactical solutions might release one.
