I don't have much money left and I still need a decent sling, what do yooz recommend, preferable from a CA company?

I highly recommend the TROY single-point sling. It doesn't have a bungee (I have a bungee one and MUCH prefer these without) and it is wide enough and padded enough to be super-comfortable. I got mine used, so not exactly sure on the price, but it probably runs around $50.

Though i prefer a 2 point sling,

blueforce gear makes a good one and their padding is SUPER comfortable:

as well as Wilderness Tactical:

Urban ERT makes a convertible 1pt/2pt sling that is freakin' awesome. Magpul's MS2 sling is a copy in terms of functionality, though Magpul's design is simpler (for mass production gov't contract purposes).

I have tried several slings and am switching back to Urban ERTs. The quick release is easy to use to switch between modes, the strap is wide for comfort, and there is a 2" to 4" captured-bungie (means that it won't stretch more than 4"). It's also got a fairly easy to use pull adjustment.

Single points are obviously the cheapest and easiest to manufacture - so there are a lots of affordable options. If you decide to go down that route, then make sure you get one with a quick-detach option like a fastex buckle.

Single Points in general were almost a fad in Iraq and A'stan from about 2004-2007, but they have too many disadvantages than advantages over an adjustable 2-point sling. Of course, if you don't plan to risk your life with your weapon, by all means get whatever you want. But if you plan to do anything remotely tactical with it, you might want to reconsider.

I have a Blue Force Gear UDC sling. It's rugged, simple, and they make the key colors. There are also 4 different quick disconnect connection options.

I use these on most of my weapons; the mash clip is strong and secure yet very easy to attach/release. These slings also incorporate an emergency release; they are simple and cost effective:

Ya, I got a single point bungee sling at the gun show for 19$ that was identical to that and its totally awsome..Worth the 18$ ^^

Then I got one from magpull befor for like almost $70 after tax and shipping, and it was the same exact quality as the 19$ one

So far my favorite combo is the blackhawk storm + Magpul ASAP.

I'm not really super-excited about the Magpul MS2.

as I have both those same slings I can say very clearly that the china sling is nowhere near the quality of the magpul item.
