Hi guys. Im going to be upgrading my bolt to a BCM w/ full auto carrier and I want to know if I should have the headspace checked. My rifle has a Sabre Defense barrel with around 450 rounds through it.

The professional way to do things is to check headspace ANY time you change a bolt or barrel.
You will most likely find that they check out fine, but you don't KNOW that until you test.
Occaisionally, a bolt fails headspace checks.

definitely a good idea to get the headspace checked when using a different bolt/BCG...
just buy a set of set of headspace gauges for that chambering and you'll be set for life. check out this article: http://www.rifleshootermag.com/gunsmithing/headspace_0612/

Per the military armorer's manual, all you need is the field service gauge.
There's one marked 1.4736 that's sold by brownells as the Colt gauge that most people use.

Ok. I found the Brownells one. Now that is the no go gauge correct. If it closes on that then I need to have it looked at but if it doesn't close on it Im good to go yeah?

That's a field gauge.
If it closes on that, the bolt or barrel is out of spec.
