I want one of these!
Benchmade LFK....Large Folding Knife.
So is this legal to carry concealed with it folded?
The bladed extends pass the handle but is covered by an intergral cover.

Here is a Link to a youtube video of it opening:

perfectly legal to carry folded and concealed. If that little extension happened to break, or not open correctly though, you'd have yourself a fixed blade.

Legal to carry concealed per CA law per the video (unless It's a switchblade). Check your local jurisdictions for length restrictions.

It's not even assisted opening, so it's nowhere near the switchblade.

Length is not a problem in my area, but might be in some more PC towns.

Does having a CCW exempt me from local jurisdiction length laws??

Nope. CA CCW applies only to handguns.

There is no state length limit on folding.

Even if that extension thing broke, it wouldn't make a fixed blade. The knife still requires assembly.

I've handled that knife, it is pretty cool. I wouldn't get it though unless I could get the knife in tip up configuration.

I've been waiting for them to make an AXIS lock version since it first came out. I don't trust liner locks to resist a long blade like that. Tip-up plus AXIS would make that a great knife.
