American Shooters is pretty nice now with the money the new owners put in. Lots O' rifle gear in stock.....even have an M60 (at least that's what I think it was) on display. Lots of parts etc. And a shooting range. Have Fun

Is the search here so bad that "Vegas gun stores" brings up nothing?

Oh I guess not,

HENDERSON DEFENSE for anything AK. I think i saw some ak74 mags in their cabinets last time I was there. They won't have any issues that you are from CA.

You won't find any AK74 mags here for under $20-30. Henderson Defense had great deals ($8-11) on 7.62 AK47 mags but I haven't been there for a couple of weeks and they raised the price of the 7.62 mags on their website; they don't always have the 5.45 '74 mags in stock. Call them and see what they say. You might see if you can get somebody outside CA to order you some, dismantle them, and send the disassembled mags to you. Used surplus AK74 mags are available from a couple of places now for around$12-15 each.

Thank god Im an Active duty Oklahoma Resident, I can legally buy any kind of mag I want there, just cant bring "assembled" mags back. Im wanting the 74 mags to convert into 10/30s once I get ready to build my TGI AK-74 kit (this thing is sweet looking, even unbuilt)

If I get carded at some place I aint even worried LOL OK drivers license

if you can wait..copes has them for $15 and I do believe he charges $1 to make it into a parts kit. You have to order them, and Geri has them in a couple colors.

He has a low price shipping fee as well.

I remember " the Vegas gun store " on East Tropicana st. has AK mags, they will sell to Californians, they just make you sign a waiver first. You can go there to shoot full autos if you have some time and money to spare.

Make sure you tell them that you're from Ca.

I wouldn't waste my time going there. They don't have much love for Californians in their retail shop.

Try this place. Cool shop, friendly and helpful: http://www.bargainpawn.com/

Thanks for the heads up, I want to go visit Las Vegas sometime soon.

Got any recommendations for Reno area? That is much closer to me compared to LV,

Last time I was there a couple of the sales guys had developed a real bad attitude problem. Sign waiver and get lecture as well.
