SOOOOO much better looking that that fugly ergo. Smaller, lighter, more compact as well means its more functional than the ergo.

And the sling point, BRILLIANT!

What's the concept here? Do ya hook a finger on it instead of using a VG?

Same thing for those of us that only use the VFG as an index point, and only rest a finger or two on it...

These are great for featureless or pistols.

Hmm, in that case I like that idea better. I have 2 fingers on my VG, which leaves a lot of unused grip below.

Yup :D I was actually considering one of these for my Featureless build, but I am selling it instead and going towards AK's now :43:

Except that I think it's backwards :)

If you are using your index finger as the reference finger. If you use your pinkie, then it is just right.

Except that I think it's backwards :)

that should be the correct way....I have seen it used the other way around too on AR pistols to give em that HK MP5K look.

Gio what rail is on that bottom AR? Man Im starting to like the looks of the rails with the back up front sight and low pro gas block more than the standard FSP.

Yep, KAC won't ship anything to CA because they have sand in their vagina's over their RIS (RAS?) being classified as an AW...

Are you guys sure these are not considered as VFG?
I would definitely love to put them in a ar pistol or a featureless..

I found these in the KAC website .. talking about the hand stop..

I sure hope not, because I have one on my AK pistol and that would be a BIG no-no! They are marketed as hand-stops, so I'm going with that until I hear otherwise...

it is not a VFG from all I have read. it is also a sling mount as well as a hand stop. but not a VFG. you can do some research around on that topic. I know a number of people running them on pistol. I am not worried about it, but plan to get one elsewhere than direct.

Yeah I hear that..

If you go to the KAC website..you can click on the discuss icon and someone else asked about it..

Someone needs to change the title of this thread to something else. Each time I see it they're out of stock. I saw this thread like 10 minutes after it hit the first page again and it was out of stock. I'm not sure there were any available at all today...

...I'd go on backorder with KAC if they weren't such jerks towards CA (why punish potentially thousands of customers because some pencil-pusher accidentally blacklisted ONE of your products?)

The assault weapon PC mentions "a forward pistol grip" specifically, not just any old forward grip. So unless you think you could grip this like a pistol grip I think you should be fine.

If you guys really want one of these, just click on the "email me when back in stock" link at the top right of the page. That's how I got mine last time they were in stock.

The upcoming hand-stops from Gear Sector look pretty good too. They are supposed to blend seamlessly with Tango Down rail guards. Judging by the price point of their other rail mounted accessories, hopefully it will be a less expensive (yet equally functional) alternative to the KAC. I'm anxiously waiting to see what the real thing is like and how it compares.

Coincidentally right when this thread was bumped, I checked the operationparts website and they did have 4 available. I ordered 2 and within less than an hour they were sold out. I'm also on the list to be notified but received no email informing me that they were in stock.

You can e-mail Wes @ MSTN. They get them in fairly regularly, and they will ship to CA. They do not show them on their website, so you have to contact them for availability & to order one.

I have seen that, but it is such an odd cryptic system.. they have an ecommerce site, but do not list these, but do sell them, but to buy them you have to "JUST DO A $1 "SPECIAL ORDER" ON OUR WEBSITE"... whats up with that
