I hope I am able to get this picture to show up... if it does work can anyone tell me what kind of BUIS this is, what kind of mount is being used for the m68, and what rails are on this rifle? This is a USAF M4 if that helps.
Thanks,
Cole.

Looks like the standard issue MATECH BUIS with a 2 piece drop in rail, probably KAC

That is a Matech, standard issue. Funny, I just bought one from Paladin4415 last night. He has more for $43.

No prob!

I got mine as a package deal from Aimpoint. If you don't already have a the Red Dot, check into getting them together. Save you some cash.

Noveske makes a QD endplate.

There is the Magpul ASAP plate.

And the Ikickhippies end plate too.

Do you need a swivel to go on the sling or a mount point on the gun for a QD swivel to snap into?

ah man, im not sure what i need. when i was talking to the guy at rifle gear yesterday he told me to look for a buttstock swivel rear and screw. i guess the DD xv ar 15's dont come with the swivel attached to the rifle, and if you dont want to use a 1point sling(which they are set up for) then you have to look for the swivel that will attach to the rifle. they had the forward swivel at rifle gear but not the rear. if this makes any sense and you can help i would appreciate it.

What stock do you have?
Some allow the sling to thread right through without a swivel or a QD swivel.

I think there's a big slot in the stock that you thread the sling through.

If you want a QD socket, then look at these:

Some stocks don't have a provision for a metal sling swivel like you have shown above.
Does your stock have a spot for one?

Did you not see my link?
Never EVER EVER pay full price for that mount. Many people get that mount with their Aimpoints and replace it with a throw lever so they are very very cheap on the secondhand market. You can easily find them for between $25 - $50.

Here is a $50 in case you missed it the first time.

The mount was already traded away before you posted the link so it's not available to the OP... ;)

It was gone already. I also advised the OP to buy them (the optic and mount) together....

I only posted the link, not as a place to buy, but as an answer to "what mount?" it is.

No problem

Just trying to help out, since like I said buying one for full price would be foolish seeing as how most people just throw theirs out.
