You can't get denied for living in an apartment. If you are at least 21 years old and can pass NICS background check then you can get a C&R FFL.

Who starts these rumors?

Who starts these rumors?

Type 01 FFL's (Dealers) start these rumors. That's because the rules are different for getting a Type 01 FFL. They need to submit a copy of their lease agreement to BATFE if they are renting their premises address. Type 03 FFL's don't have to submit a lease agreement. I delayed getting a Type 03 FFL for a couple of years because of all the gunshop owners who told me that ATF could come into my home for an inspection whenever they wanted.

Live in w LA in an apt., got a c&r. Just make sure you've got room in your closet for a safe and ammo spam cans.

lol, I live in an Apt. Have had my C&R since 2004, no issues about living in an apartment. I have a safe in my closet, full of rifles.

:fud::fud::fud:

If you're qualified to buy a handgun, you're qualified for a C&R license. That simple.

Major FUD. :patriot: I live in an apartment and had no trouble getting mine. No weird looks from the ATF or LAPD. Do I get weird looks from the UPS man? Absolutely :P
