Time's Up! The sale is over. I hope all of the buyers enjoy their new rifles. Thanks.

THIS WEEK ONLY!!! Here are a bunch of (mostly) C&R rifles for sale. I can meet you in South San Francisco for the transfer, but only between now and Sunday April 11th. These will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Face to face only. No shipping. If you are interested in getting one of these send a PM with a phone number and we can arrange a time to meet up. You can inspect the rifle and see if you really want it. Because of the short time frame available for selling these I can't do the standard "I'll take it" - then PM'ing back and forth for 10 days routine. These will have to be sold to the people who can meet up first, so if you are really interested in one of these then the earlier you arrange to come look at it the more likely your chance of getting it. All of these except for one are C&R long guns that are over 50 years old, so they can be sold FTF, cash and carry to another Californian (with ID) who is at least 18 years old. The non-C&R rifle will have to be transfered via PPT at an FFL in northern San Mateo county.

Descriptions and pics to follow below...

Czech Mauser Model 98/22 - A long Mauser rifle made for the Czech army at BRNO in the 1920's and later sold to the Turkish army. Caliber 8mm Mauser. These have full size standard Mauser 98 actions and straight bolt handles. Most of the cosmoline has be removed. Has the older style discreet Century import mark on the end of the barrel instead of on the receiver. Price is $180

Enfield No1Mk3 - SMLE rifle made at RFI in India in 1962. Caliber .303 British. This is a "wire wrap" Enfield that has the stock reinforced for grenade launching. Receiver, bolt, nosecap and rear site all match. The magazine has been force matched (twice). The finish looks to be thick green paint that was applied with a paint brush. I am told this is typical of Indian made rifles. Not very pretty on the outside, but the bore is very nice. This rifle is not on BATFE's C&R list and it is not yet 50 years old, so it will have to be transfered through an FFL in northern San Mateo County. The late manufacture date and wire wrap would make a nice addition to any Enfield collection. Price is $120 SOLD! plus buyer is responsible for the FFL transfer fee.

Still plenty of C&R rifles left. Turn your cash into a tangible asset before the hyper-inflation kicks in. :p

The bore on the M98/22 is pretty bright with good rifling. I don't have any gauges to measure throat or muzzle wear, but the muzzle passes the "bullet test". The rifle is from the "A" bloc of serial numbers and has the curved crest.
