Just bought a gun out of state. Seller will not be sending me the mag because he only has 15rd mag. I now have to go buy some 10rd mags locally. I can buy out of state but don't feel like waiting and I don't want to pay shipping for just one or two mag. Does anyone know of SoCal (L.A. county + Orange county) gun store that stocks MecGar or Sig Sauer mags? Any help you can give me is appreciated.

Turner's Outdoorsman (http://www.turners.com) stocks factory mags. I believe the Stockade & Gold Coast Guns in Orange County also carry them. Martin B. Retting (http://retting.com/) in Los Angeles may carry them also. I don't know what the prices are for any of the aforementioned shops, but imagine them to be around $25/mag for factory mags. They could be more or less depending on the salesperson.

Good luck on your search!

Most stores I've seen charge $$ for even 10rd magazines, esp if factory Sig/HK/Glock.

I'd get a copy of Shotgun News and look around and mail order these.

CDNN will likely have quality 10rd MecGar mags for under $20/ea.

Gold Coast is gone. The owner died and they closed up.

I buy all my mags online...

http://www.fourfourmag.com - shipping is only $5 for orders up to $100 then after that shipping is free.

http://www.cdnninvestments.com/ - shipping is cheap and if you order online by May 2nd 8am CST, you will get a FREE Magnum Tactical Folder Knife From Boker (MAGK72029).

there are others but I know both of these carry 10 round magazines... there are a lot of places that don't even deal in them anymore.

I hate paying retail.

MidwayUSA sells 10 round mags. And if you have a C&R you get the discount to boot. Once I got my C&R I've purchased maybe $400 worth of hi-caps through Midway.

Actually, Entreprise (yes, the same company that makes FAL in CA) sells mags at fairly good price. I don't know if they allow will call but if you picked it up in person rather than paying shipping, you might be able to buy cheaper or equal to what you pay at out-of-state online stores. I only checked the price of Mecgar 10rd mag for my Sig pistol so prices may vary for different brand handguns.
