Other than the obvious 5.56, .22 and 9mm, what kind of pistol calibers are out there for ~10.5" uppers? And where could I order such things? I'm specifically thinking 10mm, .357sig or maybe .45, if they exist. Availability of quality magazines is a requirement.

you could always find an upper and have it cut down (still doesnt answer your question as to who makes them, sorry)

all of them. You just have to have the barrel made. .45 and 10mm I know are out there.

7.62 x 39, 6.8 SPC, .40 cal are some production pistol uppers out there.

Theoretically, you go do any calibers if you can get a gun smith to cut a existing AR rifle barrel barrel down to pistol size. One caliber comes to mind is the 5.45 x 39, since the surplus ammo is cheap compared to other calibers these days.

I saw a 5.7 pistol, that was kind of neat. All the same calibers you can get for an AR rifle you can get for an AR pistol.

I have cut down a lot of barrels to make pistol uppers for people.
