I have RRA LAR 15 lower receiver that I am looking to trade for another brand lower. The picture shows it in its current state but I will strip it prior to trade.
I am looking for a Mega or Noveske lower.

I am in the Santa Monica area

All PPT would need to take place at Ammo Brothers

Please PM me with any offers.

I got a VULCAN with your name on it.:p Why the trade? a lower is a lower unless it's a POF or CALGUNS marked.

I have a RRA M4 flat top on the way and I don't want to run the risk mating it on a RRA lower.

as for the VuLcAn I think I will pass.

The RRA Car A4 Flattop is listed by name. It has a potential of being a problem.
But if I trade for a different lower I can then mount any RRA upper on it.
Here are all of the listed models that could get you in trouble if mounted with a RRA lower.
Rock River Arms, Inc.
Standard A-2
Car A2
Standard A-4 Flattop
Car A4 Flattop
NM A2 - DCM Legal
LE Tactical Carbine

doesnt matter what upper you got on it. The lower itself would have to be listed.

RRA LAR-15

I would agree, but all RRA versions come with a LAR 15 lower. So who is to say that an officer would look at the list and say close enough for me. If you look at it as a worst case scenario you could have some legal problems.

But you built it. The Roberti-Roos "AW" list only applys to the model and make, therefore the complete model and made rifle.

But whatever floats your boat.

I agree that The DOJ is referring to a factory build. But it could lead to confiscation and legal costs. Ether way I would still like to trade this lower for another roll mark.
