Yes, as a matter of fact I keep smurfs in a cage as pets.:)

Actually, I think I had my white balance set to custom from some previous pics.

Sorry, you get what you get.:)

And Photobucket wouldn't let me rotate them, so you will have to strain your neck!

Looks good. I will be getting one of those solar tactical grip wraps for my AR. Want to go with a midlength as well.

Will probably get one of those grips to replace my MMG on my AK.

Nice build, bud! How many rounds down the barrel?
BTW, I dig that KAC handstop but wish there were different alternatives for featureless users. The KAC is a little overpriced IMO.

Exactly 0 rounds so far. I might be crazy, but I'm taking this to my Blackwater carbine class in two weeks. My fingers are crossed. Hope this thing works out, cause I will not have a chance to check it out before the class.

Great looking rifle - far from being "featureless". BTW, about the ambi safety selector... do you shoot left? I'd like to know from another leftie, how a right handed AR treats us lefties in particular, the ejection of spent brass and the need for a deflector.

No, I'm a righty. The ambi selector is so that you can manipulate it on the right side with your thumb.

I'm planning to rough zero with a bore laser at 50 yards. That's all I have time for. Hopefully I can zero at class.:o

How is the battery assist device working for you? I've been wanting to get one just wanted to know if there's any play when installed or pretty solid. Great rifle btw!

The BAD seems to be pretty solid, but I've only played around with it at home. Any looseness in the system is in the bolt catch itself, not the lever. The lever just makes it more noticeable. So far it's GTG.

I like the Sully stock. The next rifle I build will get one of those.

Are you running the Ergo handstop on a featureless build? Can you get a pistol-style grasp on it? I'm not sure I'd use one that wasn't cut down some, on a featureless build.

The KAC Hand Stop is very nicely made. I will not be able to shoot with it for a couple weeks, but I have obviously played with it at home (because who can resist messing around with a new rifle).

I tried using it rotated both ways, and ended up liking how it is shown in the pics. With my hand resting against the square side, it was really awkward and uncomfortable.

It seems that I am able to put a good amount of rearward pressure on it without slipping at all. We will see how that goes when my hands are dirty and sweaty. I may have to try some grip tape.

Anyway, I would not hesitate to recommend this product, if it is within your logic to drop $60.00 on something like this.

Also, I sent you a PM.
