I posted this over at a previous kel-tec thread, but that may not have been the best idea due to the ongoing pissing contests...so sorry for the dup posts....

I have an Aimpoint T-1 I can borrow from my AR, If I want to add some magnification for say 100-200 yard target shooting, do I add a magnifier like this:

http://www.talonarms.com/talonarms/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=621&zenid=d0b2774bf02eec360b7ff91e9133f694

to the T-1, or just go for something like this truglo with 2x magnification:

Or, anything else, I am open to ideas. I would like to keep this light weight and less then $150.

And yes, I have used the search function and read the various threads here as well as ktog.org, thanks for any ideas.

i would get the vortex strikefire... i got one for my AK and it holds up to the punishment of 7.62x39... also it comes with a screw-on 2x magnifier for free... under $150 and unlimited lifetime warranty.

I was looking at that model, but I did not realize it had the 2x magnifier. Thanks.

I have the Vortex Strikefire on a midlength AR and it is working great so far. The lens caps suck so I replaced them with Butlercreek caps.

I have an NCStar Mark III 4X32 mounted on my SU16. Here (http://www.opticsplanet.net/nc-star-mark-iii-tactical-125432g-1-4x32-compact-riflescope.html) is a 1.25-4X32 version for $106 at Optics Planet. It's short enough that it doesn't get in the way when field stripping the Kel-Tec.

I've had both Primary Arms and Vortex. both are good for the money, the Vortex has the on/off switch in a funky place (side) . Everytime I'd lay the gun down it would turn off. Because of this I sold it. I have the PA m2 clone and its got over 1000 rounds and still working great.

For your Price range I'd pick any one of the Primary Arms red dots/scopes.

Thanks Grumpy and all for your feedback. I picked one up on Ebay for $63 with free shipping, 10 bucks less than the buy now price with "make an offer." Here is the store I used:
