Gonna get one more gun for a while, and kinda stuck.
I don't have an ak so I was thinking a saiga in 5.45, converting it with tapco stock grip, trigger, midway handguard, radlock. But then I was thinking a dragunov till my boss and co-worker told me they wern't really all that impressed with theirs, especially the barrel. Also thinking of keeping it simple with an fn-49 or hakim if I can find without a grenade launcher, I also have a M-48 8mm so I already have that ammo, or I could save for another month or two and get an M-76. Kinda looking for a cheaper ammo gun as my ar and
M1A ammo stocks are about where I want to keep at for a while. If price was no concern it would be M-76, unissued FN-49, saiga, dragunov, hakim. Any other ideas.

selling my chicom tommorow for 500 to put towards purchase, + 1120 rounds of ammo for ? I can get 350 or so, kind of an odd gun to hold for me.

I would agree with tomd1584 a SKS id throw it in a tapco stock or refinish a nice wood stock and call it done, SKS rifles are under rated they are good reliable guns that can be a efficient little defensive carbine wish I never sold my yugo.

I guess I could go ahead and sell the chicom for 500 and then buy a yugo for 300 and still be ahead, I havn't heard anything about the yugo m76 from any owners, but when I see it on the internet I get a chill up my leg, I do like milled recievers though and sks are also milled just mine is a little front heavy.

I just recommended the SKS because it's a cheap practical rifle in the tapco T6 it should be a pretty good combo.
