Looks good! Now the big question - is anything in stock? Last time I ordered stuff, they were out of the buttpad extension, but they had P3AT belt clips.

You know, the SU-16CA model doesn't look half bad. Once they got rid of the goofy assed front sight hanging off the end of the barrel and put it on the gas block.

Having the SU16 front sight way out there does increase sight radius making for add'l accuracy though...

That's why a lot of us like AR15s like Bushmaster "Dissipator" format - 16" bbl but with 20" AR sight position and handguards..

Anyone know if that SU-16CA has started shipping yet and if so what the approximate cost is?

Well, I answered my own question. Called Kel-Tec and was told hopefully in 2 to 4 weeks. MSRP is 740...be nice if it was in the 450 - 550 range like the others, but we shall see. Below are pics of the D variant...which no, we can't have, but they sell those tactical forends and you can mount them on the CA.

Is that legal to carry in your car unloaded with a loaded mag in the stock?

I'd be leery of loaded mags - especially loaded mag _touching the gun_.

The C and the CA have the same MRSP, you can pic a C up for about $590 retail.

Thanks, so loaded mags are a no-no? Or, only if they are touching the firearm?

If loaded mags are a no-no, a unloaded shotty and loose catridges may be a better choice for legal car carry.

I was hoping for a pinned C type stock.

Loaded mags are o.k. unless you're in a gang then it's a felony with unloaded firearm. Told the wife this and she thought it was descrimination, I tend to agree.

A loaded mag stored in the stock should be o.k. I thought the definition was a mag loaded in the mag well. When in doubt, contact the DOJ.
