Any Panoche updates?

Hi folks,

Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to go take a look at Panoche after April 15th, to see how many gates they've closed, and where we residents might still be able to shoot.

Any thoughts? Or am I just going to have to make the drive and test it out for myself?

They usually only closed the 3rd gate. You can shoot up by the 3rd gate. There is enough room to put up targets. Dont shoot further down, as that is private property.

Thanks. If this is the area I am thinking of, it appears to be situated somewhat near some dangerously steep slopes. I guess you need to be carefull not to drive off or fall off during your recreational activities.

I may go check it out this month or next. The weather's stayed really cool lately - doesn't seem like summer is approaching.

There is plenty of space there. It is on the left hand side of the 3rd gate.
